Welcome to the website of Asian American Community Alliance, Inc. (“AACA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AACA website, including information, resources, forms, memberships, event registrations, volunteer opportunities, donations, programs, communications, and other services made available through or in connection with this website.

By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the website.

1. About AACA

Asian American Community Alliance, Inc. is a newly formed nonprofit organization currently in its organizational and development stage.

AACA was established to strengthen communities through education, resources, opportunity, engagement, cultural connection, community assistance, and mutual support.

Information regarding AACA's organizational, nonprofit, charitable, or tax-exempt status may change as the organization develops. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as representing that AACA has received any governmental approval, certification, tax-exempt determination, or other status unless specifically stated by AACA.

2. Website Purpose

This website is provided for informational, educational, organizational, community-engagement, membership, fundraising, event, and communication purposes.

Information appearing on this website may include information about:

  • AACA's mission, vision, and core values;

  • Community programs and resources;

  • Membership and volunteer opportunities;

  • Events and activities;

  • Community and business partnerships;

  • Educational materials;

  • Donations and fundraising activities;

  • Community announcements;

  • External organizations, programs, or resources; and

  • Other activities consistent with AACA's mission.

The availability of information about a program, resource, event, or service does not guarantee that the program or service is currently available or that any particular person will qualify or be accepted.

3. No Guarantee of Services or Assistance

AACA may develop, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue programs, services, events, benefits, resources, or assistance at any time based on funding, staffing, volunteers, eligibility requirements, available resources, organizational priorities, or other circumstances.

Submitting an application, inquiry, membership request, assistance request, volunteer application, event registration, or other form does not create an entitlement to services, benefits, financial assistance, membership, participation, or approval.

Where eligibility requirements apply, AACA reserves the right to evaluate requests according to applicable program criteria and available resources.

4. No Professional Advice

Information provided through this website is for general informational and educational purposes only.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, information provided by AACA should not be considered legal, tax, financial, medical, immigration, insurance, accounting, mental-health, or other licensed professional advice.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding decisions requiring professional advice.

AACA does not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of information provided by third-party professionals, organizations, government agencies, community partners, businesses, volunteers, speakers, or external resources.

5. Membership

AACA may offer membership opportunities subject to eligibility requirements, dues, policies, bylaws, codes of conduct, board-approved rules, or other organizational requirements.

Submitting membership dues or a membership application does not override AACA's governing documents or automatically guarantee continued membership rights.

Membership rights, responsibilities, voting privileges, qualifications, suspension, termination, renewal, and other membership matters may be governed by AACA's Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, policies, and resolutions as amended from time to time.

If information on this website conflicts with AACA's formally adopted governing documents, the applicable governing documents will control to the extent permitted by law.

6. Donations and Contributions

AACA may provide opportunities to make donations, contributions, sponsorship payments, or other financial support.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, contributions will be used to support AACA's organizational purposes, programs, operations, and community activities as determined by AACA.

AACA does not guarantee that a contribution will be used for a particular individual, project, program, event, geographic area, or purpose unless AACA expressly accepts such a restriction in writing.

A request, comment, notation, or message submitted by a donor does not by itself create a legally binding restriction on the use of funds.

AACA reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to decline or return a contribution that is inconsistent with its mission, policies, legal obligations, organizational interests, or applicable restrictions.

Tax Deductibility

AACA does not guarantee that any payment, membership fee, donation, sponsorship, contribution, or other transaction is tax-deductible.

Any statement regarding tax deductibility will depend upon AACA's applicable tax status, the type of payment or contribution, and applicable law.

Donors should consult their own tax professional regarding the tax treatment of any contribution.

7. Payments and Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments made through this website may be processed by third-party payment providers.

AACA may not directly collect or retain complete credit-card, debit-card, or banking information when those details are processed directly by a third-party payment provider.

Use of a third-party payment system may also be subject to that provider's own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and transaction requirements.

AACA is not responsible for interruptions, processing errors, security incidents, delays, or other matters caused solely by third-party payment providers outside AACA's reasonable control.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies may vary depending on whether a payment relates to membership, an event, sponsorship, merchandise, a program, or another activity.

Any specific refund or cancellation terms presented at the time of registration or payment will apply to that transaction.

Where no specific refund policy has been stated, refund requests may be reviewed by AACA on a case-by-case basis, subject to applicable law and organizational policies.

Donations generally represent voluntary contributions rather than purchases of goods or services. AACA may review requests concerning mistaken or unauthorized transactions on a case-by-case basis.

9. Events and Activities

AACA may organize, sponsor, promote, host, or participate in community events, meetings, workshops, educational programs, networking events, cultural activities, volunteer activities, and other programs.

Dates, times, locations, speakers, participants, activities, and other event details may change.

AACA may cancel, postpone, relocate, modify, restrict participation in, or discontinue an event when reasonably necessary.

Participation in certain events or activities may require additional registrations, waivers, releases, consent forms, eligibility requirements, or rules.

Participants are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for them and for complying with venue rules and applicable laws.

10. Photographs, Video, and Media

AACA events and activities may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded for organizational, educational, historical, promotional, community-outreach, social-media, or reporting purposes.

Where individual authorization or a separate media release is required or appropriate, AACA may request additional consent.

Individuals who have concerns regarding photography or recording at an AACA event should notify an AACA representative.

Nothing in these Terms replaces a separate written photography, video, publicity, or media release when one is required.

11. Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities are subject to organizational needs, qualifications, availability, policies, supervision, and approval.

Submission of a volunteer application or expression of interest does not guarantee placement.

AACA may establish requirements for certain volunteer roles, including orientation, training, background screening, confidentiality agreements, waivers, codes of conduct, or other reasonable requirements.

Volunteer service does not create an employment relationship merely by participation in volunteer activities.

12. Community Partners, Businesses, and Directory Listings

AACA may provide information about community organizations, businesses, professionals, sponsors, vendors, service providers, government resources, or other third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the appearance of a person, organization, business, product, service, advertisement, sponsorship, link, or listing on the AACA website does not constitute a guarantee or warranty by AACA.

Users are responsible for evaluating third-party businesses, organizations, professionals, products, and services before entering into any transaction or relationship.

AACA is not a party to transactions entered into independently between website users and third parties unless expressly stated otherwise.

13. Third-Party Websites and Resources

This website may contain links to websites, platforms, services, social-media accounts, government agencies, community organizations, businesses, or other resources that are not operated or controlled by AACA.

Links are provided for convenience or informational purposes.

AACA does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, policies, products, services, or activities of third-party websites or services.

Accessing third-party services is at your discretion and subject to the third party's own terms and policies.

14. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, content created and owned by AACA on this website—including its name, logos, graphics, designs, written materials, photographs, videos, educational materials, publications, website content, and other original materials—is owned by or licensed to AACA and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view, download, or print website materials for personal, informational, and noncommercial use where permitted.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, republish, misrepresent, or use AACA's protected materials in a manner that suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or authorization without appropriate permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, photographs, logos, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

15. User-Submitted Information and Content

If you submit comments, testimonials, photographs, documents, event information, business information, stories, suggestions, or other content to AACA, you represent that you have the authority to provide that material and that doing so does not knowingly violate another person's rights.

Submission of information does not require AACA to publish, retain, use, or respond to it.

AACA reserves the right to moderate, edit, reject, or remove content from AACA-controlled platforms when reasonably necessary to protect the organization, its community, or its mission.

AACA may request separate authorization before using an individual's name, likeness, testimonial, photograph, or other protected material for promotional purposes when appropriate.

16. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website to:

  • Violate applicable law;

  • Engage in fraud, deception, harassment, threats, or unlawful discrimination;

  • Impersonate another person or organization;

  • Submit knowingly false or misleading information;

  • Introduce malware, viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology;

  • Interfere with the website's operation or security;

  • Collect personal information about other users without authorization;

  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;

  • Use AACA's identity to falsely imply endorsement or affiliation;

  • Conduct unauthorized commercial solicitation or spam; or

  • Engage in conduct reasonably likely to harm AACA, its systems, its members, volunteers, donors, partners, or website visitors.

AACA may restrict or terminate website access where reasonably necessary to address misuse.

17. Accuracy of Website Information

AACA seeks to provide useful and reasonably accurate information but does not guarantee that every item on the website will always be complete, current, error-free, or applicable to every circumstance.

Information may become outdated as programs, laws, resources, schedules, organizations, personnel, or external services change.

AACA may correct, update, remove, or modify website content without prior notice.

18. Privacy

Use of this website is also subject to AACA's Privacy Policy, which explains how AACA may collect, use, disclose, and protect information obtained through the website.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

19. Website Availability and Security

AACA does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to this website.

The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security concerns, third-party service interruptions, upgrades, events outside AACA's reasonable control, or other circumstances.

AACA reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the website.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THIS WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

AACA MAKES NO GUARANTEE THAT THE WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY USER OR PURPOSE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AACA AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS WEBSITE.

AACA is not responsible for losses resulting solely from third-party websites, third-party services, external organizations, independent businesses, Internet-service interruptions, or other matters outside AACA's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

22. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the website, your material violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Nothing in this section is intended to impose obligations that cannot lawfully be imposed.

23. Emergency Situations

AACA's website, email, social-media accounts, forms, and other communication channels are not emergency-response systems.

Do not use AACA's website to request emergency medical, law-enforcement, fire, mental-health crisis, or other immediate emergency assistance.

For emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service or governmental authority.

24. Changes to These Terms

AACA may update these Terms as the organization, website, programs, services, technology, policies, or legal requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the website following publication of revised Terms constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

25. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any legal proceeding relating to these Terms will be brought in a court having appropriate jurisdiction, subject to any rights or requirements imposed by applicable law.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

27. No Waiver

AACA's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision or AACA's right to enforce it later.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the AACA Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly applicable to a particular transaction, event, membership, program, or activity, constitute the applicable terms governing use of this website.

Additional formally adopted AACA governing documents and policies may separately govern members, directors, officers, volunteers, programs, and organizational activities.
